Handling the Interruptions with Ally Cedeno of The Women Offshore Foundation

We’re joined in this episode by Ally Cedeno, the founder and president of the Women Offshore Foundation, a 501(c)3 nonprofit dedicated to reducing the gender gap on the water. With an undergraduate degree from the US Merchant Marine Academy and an MBA from Rice University, Ally is also an accomplished HR professional and DEIB strategist working in the maritime and energy industries.

She joins us for this collaborative episode with the Women Offshore podcast, where we have a candid conversation about interruptions in the workplace. We discuss some of our own lived experiences and learnings, and we share some ways to handle the disruptions.

We also discuss some upcoming events and programming hosted by our respective organizations, including the Two Piers Reclaim the Floor workshop series as well as the annual Women Offshore Conference.
